Mike Solof's late father, Charles Solof, was the subject of a neat article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Sunday, February 15, 2009.It's a very nice feature and has a good selection of illustrations. It does mis-identify Mike as a writer for Gemstone Publishing (he's a contributing photographer for us on Scoop and has been for years), but it's otherwise spot-on.
On a personal note, based on my last trip to The 'Burgh, the PG no longer seems to actually stink (I mean, literally) the way it did when I delivered it as a kid -- man, it smelled bad -- it was great to see them do an article like this. Bravo!
